Next Order Date: Thur, Sept 2nd Please place your paper orders &/or checks in the band room on Wed. Sept 1st before 5:30 pm You may opt to deliver your order to my home by 10 am Sept 2nd, contact me at the numbers below for directions. Do you use Shopwithscrip & Prestopay? Please place your order before 10 am Thurs 2nd. We will be using Regular Postage unless we have orders totaling $2500+. Don't forget to e-mail me if you are doing any ordering...especially if you plan to drop by my house with your order.

BV Band/Color Guard Back-to-School Night Fundraiser - Mix-It Yogurt

Support the Bella Vista Band and Color Guard by purchasing a delicious frozen yogurt at Mix-It Yogurt Lounge in Fair Oaks anytime on Wednesday, September 15th 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

 

Meet with friends and family before or after Back-to-School Night, September 15th, Mix-It Yogurt Lounge will donate a portion of their proceeds to the Bella Vista Marching Band and Color Guard.  Mix-It is located at 8505 Madison Avenue, #180, Fair Oaks, (corner of Madison and Kenneth) hours are 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM.  No flyer is needed, just mention Bella Vista Band Boosters at time of payment.

BVBB Sweatshirts Available to Order

BVBB sweatshirts are back!  The BV band logo will also be on the front of the sweatshirt.  Hoodies are a $25 donation and Zip-up's are $30.
 
If you already have a sweatshirt from last year, we can add the BV band logo to the front of your sweatshirt for a $5 donation.  Return your sweatshirt with yoru order form in a bag.
 
Deadline to submit your order is Monday, Sept 13th.  Contact Sue Schooley at 966-6363 if you have any questions.
 

Entertainment Book fundraiser is going strong

Congratulations to Julie Miller, she is our first winner of our weekly incentives for the Entertainment Book fundraiser she won a gift certificate to Jamba Juice.

Turn in your money for the sales of at least one book by Monday, September 13th and you will be entered to win a gift certificate too!

We have a few students who have already sold more than 20 books and others who have sold more than 10 books – keep up the great sales. There will also be prizes for the top 3 students who sell the most books.

Remember for every book that you sell $16 will go to your student account ($17 if you sell 5 or more books).  You will also receive one FREE book for every 5 books that you sell.

Every student is expected to sell at least one book!

Spring Trip Update - February 20-25, 2011

The Spring Trip plans to Cancun are underway and the planning committee is happy to announce that we have over 70 people (students and chaperones) signed up.  We have started a waiting list if your  band/color guard student wants to participate.

We will be having a trip meeting on Monday, September 13th at 7:00 pm, so mark your calendar and plan to attend.
 

Booster Meeting Schedule Change

Due to the change in practice schedule, Booster Meeting days have been changed.  Booster meetings will now be held on the last Monday of each month.  Please plan to attend the next meeting, now scheduled for September 27th at 7:00 P.M

The marching season and new school year will soon be upon us. The start of the year is always a very busy time, so before we get too far into it, attached are some potluck reminders for upcoming events.

 Check the bellavistaband.org site frequently to ensure that you are up to date on your student’s band schedule. Yes, it changes often, sometimes daily, and quickly.
 
Parents wishing to stay informed and receive the weekly band bulletin MUST register at bellavistaband.org. If more than one household is involved with the student, it is recommended that all parties involved have registered with the site as well.
